how to kill my couch grass has traveled under my garden edging.

my couch grass has traveled under my garden edges. can i spray with zero on the grass in the garden without it killing the lawn grass which is still cnonected underground?

Answer: Dear Fleur,

You can use Zero Glyphosate on the couch grass that has travelled into your garden beds. Be careful though when using around your plants not to let any of the herbicide come in contact with plant leaves.

Because couch grass has rhizomes (underground root system that runs horizonally and then sends up shoots) it can be difficult to control it from re-entering your garden beds. You may have to put down a concrete garden edge which will certainly help to slow down its progress.
