I have a few different weeds in my kikiyu lawn some are broadleaf and some grass-type. What can I use?

The lawn was newly established (turf) in Autumn this year. Lawn starter was put down under the turf, so it probably doesn't need the "feed" component. (I also have free-range poultry that have added plenty of nitrogen to the lawn).

Answer: Dear Michelle,

To remove the boardleaf weeds in your lawn, there are a few products you can use. Now that your lawn is over 3 months and is established, you can apply Lush Bindii & Broadlef Weeder or Yates Bindii & Clover Weeder. Both of these product are concentrate herbicides which will need to be diluted in water before using on your lawn. As stated previously, they will kill broadleaf weed but not grass-type weeds such as onion weed or winter grass.

Hose on products you can use are Yates Weed n Feed Hose-On (which has the fertiliser component) and Buffalo Pro (just a herbicide). Both of these products are in a hose-on container and are easily applied to a lawn area.
