How can I kill barnyard grass in a couch/kikuyu lawn without killing the lawn?

Answer: Hi Leann,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any product in our range that can selectively control barnyard grass in your lawn.

The best thing to do is to paint on Zero Weedkiller onto the actual weed. For ease of use we recommend using Yates Zero Weeding Brush this can be used to apply the herbicide without bending and reducing off target damage as you paint the leaves rather then spraying.

Please be careful not to get the product onto the lawn as it will kill the grass as well.

Kind regards,

Yates Horticulturist
