Is it safe to use yates anti rot on a newly planted avocado tree? does it cause extra stress to my avocado?

Is it better to wait before applying spray?

Answer: Hi Joe,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

We would recommend that you wait until your tree is at least 4 weeks old (after planting out) prior to applying any product.

However, if the plant is suffering from severe root rot, it is best to apply the product as soon as you can to try to offer it some assistance.

Otherwise, feed it gently and keep the soil well drained to help it cope with its new home.

Kind regards,
