Azalea seedling in a clay pot, some of the leaves are burning or dying

Azalea is a cutting which is still small, the cuttings in plastic pots are ok. Do azaleas not like clay pots?

Answer: Hi Helen,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

I would suspect the burning and dying leaves are watering related as clay pots can dry out quicker than plastic ones. Improve watering should help the plant.

The product you need to apply is Yates Water Wise Water Storage Crystals. You can see a picture of the product using the below link.

Hope this helps and happy gardening.
