How do I rid of Harlequin beatles? I have tried to kill them for 5 years. Nothing will flower in the garden as they get to it first.

Answer: You would have noticed these sap sucking beasties clustered on your fence,woodheap,tree trunk or similar structure. They usually feed on nearby plants during the day. Yates Baythroid and Lebaycid are registered controls of this bug. Be sure to treat the bugs on the garden structures as well as on the plants and adhere to witholding periods for edibles.
