What goes first on buffalo lawn - fertilizer or clover killer (lawn laid spring 2011) lots of very fine clover

We laid 2 buffalo lawns in Spring 2011. They were cut too short for winter but now are lush again. One is full of very fine clover. Should we feed the grass and we want to posison the clover - what do we do first?

Answer: Hi Susan,
It is best to remove the weeds prior to fertilising the lawn. Buffalo Pro controls a range of broad leaf weeds including clover. For the best results do not mow or fertilise the lawn for 7 days prior or after applying the Buffalo Pro.
Creeping oxalis is a very difficult weed to control. It has small clover like leaves and yellow flowers. It has extensive rhizomes and bulbs below the ground and many points where the the weed produces roots. For this reason a second application of herbicide may be required 3-4 weeks later.

After the weeds are eradicated apply fertiliser and water well.
Do not apply Buffalo Pro to ST varieties of Buffalo grass as damage may occur.
