Fiona
After emptying our spa (chlorine) onto a section of lawn, the lawn has died and will not regrow. Help!

The water was horrid after a week away, spa shock added and the water was still not clear. We emptied it onto the lawn and since the lawn has died, and will not regrow in that spot, even after trying new roll on and lawn seed.

Answer: Hi Fiona, It may take some time for the soil to recover. Adding cow manure and soil underlay may help prior to replacing the turf. Every two months apply some seaweed booster to try and increase the number of soil microbes. Once the lawn has slowly re-established apply topdressing and fertiliser each year. Best of luck.
