How many treatments are needed to eradicate dandelion and bindii? We have a huge lawn and it gets rather expensive to maintain.....

I applied Weed'n'Feed Granular two weeks ago, held my breath watching the lawns turn black and am pleased to see the green grass blades have improved but just as many dandelion stalks as before seem to have shot up as well.

Answer: Hi Treacey, sometimes if the weeds are very mature they are harder to kill, particularly dandelions which develop a large tap root. if they are still shooting, moisten the lawn and reapply some product just on each weed and they usually shrivell after this 2nd application. the trick is to 1.avoid weeds seeding and re-infesting the lawn. 2. don’t let weeds get too mature as they are harder to kill 3. keep lawn thick to out-compete the weeds. hope this helps!
