Are the BuffaloPRO Weed'n'FEED and Weed'n'FEED (hose on types) safe to use near vegetables/Salad greens?

Both my neighbours and I have vegetables very close to a lawn (about 1m away or less) overrun with weeds. Will the chemicals in these products contaminate the food crops through the soil (assuming I Can keep the overspray off).

I may also want to pull out some of the grass later and plant some vegetables and want to make sure I am not creating a future health hazard.

Is there a better product I should use given the circumstances?

Answer: Hi Anthony,
its a good idea to try and avoid areas where you have food crops, while spraying use a bit of cardboard so you don’t get overspray on your plants and if your using a herbicide to kill weeds, leave a good couple of weeks after spraying and the weeds have died down add some compost and turn your soil over. If your looking for organic solutions i have copied a link below.I hope this helps
