Jennifer
my potted finger eggplants are not always purple but a yellowish colour. Why should this be?

Is this colour variation normal and how do I know when to pick them?
I use a Power Feed and also used a Thrive for plants and flowers...about which I am a bit ad hoc. The bush is bearing a reasonable amount of fruit I think.

Answer: Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

It’s common to see colour of eggplant ranging from white to yellow to cream. It’s best to harvest the fruit when it reaches 10 cm long. To feed the plant, try Yates Thrive Tomato & Veggie Natural Fish Blood & Bone+ Concentrate. The dual acting formula feed through both leaves and roots to boost healthy grown and yield of tomato and veggies.

Hope this helps and happy gardening.
