I'm visiting in Melbourne, and want to plant a flowering vine in a sandy shaded area. Any clues ?

It has a watering system. it only gets a small bit of sun in early afternoon and then shade as the next door house is very close to the fence. Its only about 120-140cm btw either house and fence. This house has a north east aspect, but its the south wall that I want to cover. The wall is 180cm high and about 8m long. Its sandy soil. This wall has many windows looking onto it, so we want something nice to look at. Do you have any suggestions ?

Answer: Hi Gardener,

Kangaroo Vine and Star Jasmine are two climbers will grow well in shady conditions but they do require the aide of a supporting framework.

Kind regards, Kay.
