Hi I have a lot pea shoots coming from my pea hay (used as mulch). Just wondering if they are edible?

Answer: Hi Kim,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

The pea is safe to consume if it will flower and set pods. To feed, try Yates Thrive Vegie & Herb Pelletised Plant Food. It’s enriched with Dynamic Lifter and has added nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium to give your fruiting plants the right balance of nutrients for their growing needs. Hope this helps and happy gardening.

Best Regards,
Louise
