Medium_tree_image Can you please help me identify this tree. It is deciduous and drops yellow fruits.

The tree is in my neighbours yard and drops a large amount of yellow fruits with flesh that darkens very quickly and there is a large nut inside. I'm wondering if it could be a type of walnut but am not sure how to tell. I would like to know if the fruits are toxic as we are planning on putting a chook run beneath it and do not want it to affect our chickens.

Thank you for contacting Yates.

Could you please forward us a close up picture of the leaves and fruits so we can identify the tree for you.
