How do I propagate Casuarina Glaucia it and a bit or cousin it?

I am finding it very difficult to find these magnificent Australian native plants. I have seen them growing and I have been lucky enough to buy 6, 2 of which don’t look too healthy. The 2 were pot bound and I’m hoping that they have only been slowed down by this. The other 4, planted in a different area seem to be thriving. I want to create a magnificent green waterfall over a boulder wall. How do I propergate these plants. I can get cuttings from established plants. Please advise? Thank you.

Answer: Hi Anne,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

You can propagate the plant from stem cuttings, please read the detailed instructions from the following link: https://harvardforest.fas.harvard.edu/sites/harvardforest.fas.harvard.edu/files/publications/pdfs/Lundquist_BotanicalGaz_1984.pdf

The product you need to apply is Yates Clonex Rooting Hormone Gel Purple. You can see a picture of the product using the below link.

Hope this helps and happy gardening.
