Understanding seed packets

The seasons that are ticked on seed packets is that the growing season or the time to sow , lets say summer is ticked and autumn isnt does that mean the plant will still grow and produce in autumn

Thank you for contacting Yates.

The sowing guides on the back of our seed packets indicate the best time to sow your seeds in order to allow for germination to occur. The grown plants can still be planted out or grown in the following seasons but are less likely to germinate from seed or will end up bolting quickly due to the season differences.

Just be sure to give all your plants a good feed regardless of the season. A regular application of Dynamic Lifter Soil Improver and Plant Fertiliser can assist with your soil as well as the plants that are growing in it!
