How do I kill waxy leaf ivy

My garden is being taken over by a waxy leaved ivy (the one used in Xmas Decorations). What would be the best product to control it? I was once given a product which I believe was a blackberry poison which worked for that outbreak. Would your tree and blackberry poison be effective?

Answer: Hi Leola,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

Yes, Yates Tree and Blackberry Weed Killer is the right product. It’s ideal for killing tree stumps and other hard-to-kill woody weeds. Try the ratio 1:5 to Kerosene. Click here for more info: http://www.yates.com.au/products/weed-control/gardens-paths-and-driveways-non-selective-control/yates-tree-and-blackberry-killer

Hope this helps and happy gardening.

Best Regards,
