I have a 40 year old standard azaela it has become very sparse should i give it a good cut back like roses

Answer: Azaelas are a great addition to the garden with their attractive flowers. They do need to be pruned to make a dense bush or hedge. Pruning will enourage the growth of new branches leading to a denser bush. Support the plants growth and flowering with regular applications of Thrive Flower and Fruit Soluble Fertiliser.
