Peaches. Is it time to fertilise peach trees?

Our peach tree has lot s of peaches Is it time to fertilise? was told fertiliser with ratio 10-10-10 is best. Is thiis correct. What is it called? Do we need to apply potash?

Answer: Hi Carol, The best fertiliser to use would be Dynamic Lifter for Fruit and Citrus as it contains rich, composted chicken manure fortified with inorganic nutrients. It is a bit late to apply potash as the fruit have already developed. Monitor for fruit fly using a trap and then apply Nature’s Way Fuit Fly Control which contains spinosad a naturally occuring soil bacteria. Spray the lower branches and trunk area. Enjoy eating your own home grown fruit.
