I have one guava tree and every year we only get 2 fruit on for the past 3 years that we have had tree. We have done and do everything that we are suppose to do - fertilising etc.. So am wondering if there is something special we need also to do to recei

I believe my tree looks healthy enough so I just do not know what I am doing wrong other than talking to it?

Answer: Hi Annette, depends on the type of fertiliser you are using. Generally lack of potassium and too much nitrogen can cause lack of fruit, so sulphate of potash might help. Also depends on the type of guava, some pollinated by bees which may be lacking, or by beetles. Some types are self fertile and others benefit from cross-pollination.
