How/when should I fertilise my Red Devil Photinias? I live in Central Western New South Wales.

Answer: Hi There Jan,
The best time to fertilise your photinias is either in the Autumn and the spring. Dynamic lifter organic plant food is a good all purpose fertiliser but in the summer a seaweed concentrate used as a root tonic as a added supplement through the warmer weather will keep the roots stong and healthy .Its recomended not to fetilise when the weather is hot to avoid fertiliser burn and so your photinias can take up the nutrients early in the season.
