Medium_img_3377 Yucca with brown tips

My outdoor Yucca has brown tips and I am unsure if I should water it more or fertilize it.
I usually water it every week and we had a very hot summer in South Australia.
Do I need to/can I prune of the brown parts?
Also there is a big black branch in the middle of the plant. I assume thats were it flowered. Do I need to do anything with that or just leave it be?

Answer: Hi Maria,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

The photo indicates the Phormium has had a tough summer and the leaves are burnt. I would suggest increase watering during the warmer months and spray the plant with Yates Water Wise DroughtShield, which works like sunscreen to help protect your plant.
