I have planted a border of pansies but instead of growing larger they are still perfectly formed but smaller

I have made sure that I have kept mulch away from the plant and I did plant them in potting mix to give them a head start.Thank you

Answer: Hi Di, Some varieties of pansies are much larger than other varities and these are generally called the Giant Pansy. Other varieites produce a much smaller flower and the voila is even smaller again. Try some liquid fertiliser such as Yates Uplift or Nature’s Way Multi Nutrient Plant Food to help prolong the flowering.
