Have pink cap like small insects in each leaf of my lilly pilly. what is that and how to treat it?

It is shiny pink cap and attached to the leaf near the stalk. The plant does not look distressed or there is no observed change. However these pink dots are present in all leaves of one of my lilly pilly. I have 4 of them but other 3 are fine. They are all around 3 years old.

Answer: Hi Div,
Thank you for contacting Yates.

It sounds like scale infestation, to be exact, the pink wax scale if the colour is pink. To control, Try ‘Yates Nature’s Way Citrus & Ornamental Spray (Pyrethrum Plus Oil Pest Spray)’. Controls a wide variety on insects pests on many edibles and ornamentals.
